Pallone Statement on St. Louis County Grand Jury Decision

Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (NJ-06) released the following statement after a St. Louis County Grand Jury announced it will not indict Officer Darren Wilson in the death of Michael Brown, an unarmed teenager who was shot and killed in August:

“The St. Louis County Grand Jury’s decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson is a failure of our justice system. The principle of ‘Equal Justice under Law’ must apply to all Americans. My thoughts and prayers are with Michael Brown’s family, especially his parents, who have endured such unimaginable pain and hardship over these past few months.”

Was Frank Pallone on the grand jury that heard testimonies and studied evidence since August? Why do you think this was a failure of our justice system? It is irresponsible to stoke the flames of racial discontent. The members of the grand jury knew riots may result from this verdict. Hey Frank 76 police officers were killed last year in the line of duty can you name one?
